MDHT Starter HT & CT 2010The Maryland Horse Trials Combined Tests 2010: Sept. 12, Oct. 31, and Nov. 14Starter HT Only: October 17The Maryland Horse Trials Combined Test offers five levels of competition each increasing in distance and difficulty: Elementary (for Riders or Horse new to the sport of Eventing this year), Baby Beginner Novice, Beginner Novice, Novice and Training Levels. Individual jumping rounds and dressage tests are also available.

Short Course Eventing at Loch Moy FarmThe Maryland Horse Trials, LLC SHORT COURSE EVENT SERIES 2010: Sept. 12, Oct. 31, and Nov. 14Short Course Eventing/Event Derby compliments the sport of Horse Trials. It is a variation of the Combined Test concept by including Stadium Jumps in the Cross Country Course. Riders begin with a Dressage Test, followed by the combined jumping course. Jumping begins with Stadium fences on our grass Cross Country Course, then without stopping, continues out over solid cross country jumps, and back to finish over more Stadium fences. The Maryland Horse Trials at Loch Moy are pleased to announce the MDHT/EuroMotocars Germantown/Mercedes Benz Series Award!All Horse/Rider combinations that compete at all three MDHT are eligible for the Series Award. Please declare when entering the October Horse Trial that you are eligible so that we can track your points earned.The combination with the highest number of points will be the winner. Ties will be broken based on the combination with the closest to Optimum Time on XC in October.

Volunteering at a horse trial is a fun and rewarding way to get involved with the sport! No experience is required for most volunteer positions. Don't forget about our "Volunteer Only" schooling days!
